MINAT Presents General Climate Following March 12, 2023 Senatorial Elections
The Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul, has granted a press briefing on the general climate of the March 12, 2023, senatorial elections. In a press statement at the end of the elections at the conference room of the Ministry of Territorial Administration, he said elections took place in all 58 Divisions of Cameroon without any incidence “Generally, the senatorial election took place this Sunday in a peaceful and serene atmosphere in all the electoral constituencies” he said He noted the enthusiasm surrounding the elections which demonstrated the senate, as a strategic institution engaged in Cameroon’s development under President Paul Biya. Minister Atanga Nji, saluted transparency and fair play which prevailed during the elections. He said 3,000 national and international election observers were accredited by the Ministry of Territorial Administration for the Senatorial Elections, raising hope that the observers would produce objective reports.
