Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration who is also President of the National Hadj Commission chairs the 33rd session of the commission ahead of the 2023 Muslim pilgrimage. He welcomed all the members of the National Hadj Commission and appreciated the efforts they put in to ensure that the 2022 edition of Hadj was a success. Atanga Nji Paul said the required duration of stay for Muslim pilgrims in the Holy Land is 26 days and each year the National Hadj Commission has been improving on their work, thus eliminating the unnecessary and undesired stay of pilgrims in Saudi Arabia after the end of the pilgrimage.  He said travelling conditions as well as lodging conditions have greatly been improved with pilgrims having less time to spend moving between their hotels and prayer grounds.  MINAT BOSS AND SGA/PRC A cross section of members of the national hadj commission   Atanga Nji Paul added that for three years running, the Head of State has subsidised the pilgrimage with t

 

The family of a certain Valentine Saah ( mentally ill) residing at the mile 27 neighborhood in Bamunka Ndop, Ngoketunjia division of the North West region is still to overcome the shock of his death. According to some sources he was allegedly shot by the company commander of the Ndop gendarmerie brigade The incident took place on the 13 of April 2023 around midday,all attempts to rescue him went in vain. Sources also added that since the presence of the said Company commander in Ndop, several families have been witnessing the same scenario ( Killing of innocent youths as separatist fighters)

  Paul Biya has demonstrated his consistent consistency. He is not a man of surprises in substance , even though he could be in form. The most remarkable "remontada" or come back is that of Marcel Niat Njifenji, the current Senate Primus Inter Parés , who had wrongly  been sent on an anticipatory  parliamentary retirement, by a segment of public opinion, now to their chagrin.   Atanga Nji Paul, Cameroon's Minister of Territorial Administration receives in audience Major General Mark Strickland, General Officer Commanding  the 6th Division of the British Army. The purpose of the discussion was the security cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Cameroon government.  The Major General was accompanied by Dr Christian Denny-McClure, British High Commissioner to Cameroon.
